Meet Lissa

I graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in English Literature and Film. After spending a few years living in the UK, I now currently reside in the breathtakingly beautiful Tasmania/lutruwita with my husband and a charming coterie of black cats/feral gremlins.

I am interested in telling all sorts of stories, so I write a variety of speculative fiction genres including fantasy romance or romantasy, urban fantasy and paranormal romance, science fiction, and contemporary and dark romance.
Some of my books lack heat and are appropriate for YA readers, while some of them smoulder, and some of them are so spicy you’ll need a cool drink to get through it!
I love to write kickass tough but compassionate heroines and the overprotective heroes that fall for them, whether they are cinnamon rolls, alpharolls, bad boys, or straight up alphaholes.

No matter the book, my novels blend intensity, wit, and passion to create cinematic worlds you’ll never want to leave.

Favourite tropes:

Forced proximity, he falls first, protective hero, tough heroine.
